Ticking is a bedding mattress for sleeping.

being a Carpet Weaver,
sewing Money into his Clothes & bedding were probably his go-to way of hiding it,
but I suppose that doesn't mean he never buried any, I guess :dontknow:

And they buried him in his favorite clothes which they forgot to check before burial. My dad pastored a church and one of the older ladies died from the church. She had no known family so he was asked to remove her personal items from the rent property. My mother and father went over to clean out the closet and found thousand of hundred dollar bills sewed into old coats. Interesting that suddenly family showed up after that from what I remember.

I Would imagine in this case Everything that could be Checked was.
I'm still trying to Get Confirmation the J. Miller in Donaldson was Julius.
I'm having my Doubt since he rented a room at The Eagle 00seven.webp
