Hunt #5 at this old homestead in the park woods. It appears on the 1876 survey map and newest coin found was a 1976, I think it burned down in 76. I hit areas further away from the foundation then started digging iron masked signals by the home later in the hunt.

The silver coin is a 1944 Mercury dime, I pocketed it fully dirty and did not rub until under the sink...

Found wheats #21 & I think #22 at this site. View attachment 1414049View attachment 1414050
The rusty one came out of the same 10x10 area where the majority of the wheats are coming, remnants of a swing set here. This came out when digging another target as it is steel. I'm pretty sure it is a 1943 steel wheat but fully rusted/toasted. This would be my first steel cent. And help on how to try to salvage this coin is appreciated. Just would like to remove rust somehow to add this to my display, but maybe not possible.
First intact baby spoon. Do these markings mean sterling or plated?View attachment 1414053View attachment 1414054
Old "Pinto" cap gun, appears to be plated in copper. Unusual design.View attachment 1414055View attachment 1414056
I think this is a clip on earring, some gilding still on it.

Also Briggs and Stratton GM key.

Good luck out there!
