Ok so ive been wanting to get in the water with my at pro for bout a month now well finally got to do it today and FINALLY found the woman I was looking for I was so excited

no clue its heavy like 5 pounds heavy so im assuming its lead but what for? its shaped like a bar

The mercury dime depicts the mythical Greek god Hermes.
Interestingly enough, I never read why it was chosen for the dime, however it began mintage half way through WW I, and ended at the end of WW II in 1945.
One must imagine if it had some type of Masonic symbolism.

Sorry, but that is not true either. The dime is a depiction of Lady Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap. It is mostly referred as a "Mercury Dime" because it is confused with the Roman God Mercury. So indeed, you were looking for and found a woman afterall.
