4th silver = lawnmower food.....

My fourth ever silver coin dig. All three of my previous silver coins came from MY yard. Aaaaaaaas usual, I was digging after dark(of course...) in the ol' front yard and I got a bum signal. Mixed up with iron and nickel. It was consistently inconsistent so I dug it. BOOM!! There it was aaaaaand I didn't even scratch it! Woo-hoo!! It is apparently physically impossible to dig daytime silver here at my place. They have all come out of the ground after dark. Some form of nocturnal coinage, perhaps. Rarely seen up there in the north. Here are the scans. Lawnmower food...that's a good, I don't care WHO ya are...

I found one of those today, mine was a 1944 P. They sure do sound different.

Congratulations on that war nickel. Ouch sorry it was lawnmower food. Still a great find though. I have only a few silver coins found so far MDing. 3 Mercs, 1 Barber Dime, 1 War nickel, 1 Roosie, and one Barber Half. So 7 total. Everyone certainly counts for me since they are difficult to find. Atleast to me they have been so far.
