5.2 g white gold in the OC

Went detecting in my favorite two beach cities here in So Cal on Friday. First in Newport Beach. Did not find much. Only a little change in over 2 hours north of the piers. Moved over to a new spot along Huntington Beach that I never really tried before. Of course after only the first or second signal this nice little 14k ring came up. Dry sand find. Only my third marked or obvious gold piece found this year. All showing up after labor day. Nice to get something worthwhile this time of year.
