5-7-22 Hunt (Could've been Worse)

Got out for a few hours yesterday in SE Alabama . Nothing spectacular but could've been worse. My first impression on the little point (1 × 3/4) with a impact fracture tip is a Clay. Size and type is pretty rare in the area; for me at least.

Heat treated Costal plains chert, I think.

Always love seeing the southern coastal plains finds. I never get far enough south to find any. Close but no cigar.
