No wait, I'll start at the end.

Today Freddy67 got a new water detector so we headed out to a spot I'd been thinking about for years for a water dig. I had a good idea this place would be virgin, and looking at how much tarnish (toning) is on the Silver I'm now certain it is. Not to mention the number of targets (39 coins not shown). 60 targets in total in 4 hours, one water dig every 4 minutes, some were quite deep. Not including the trash of which there was very little trash, a handful in total.

Anyway Freddy got the first gold, and I eventually got one, and then another. Way cool, first time I got two gold in one day. Best jewelry day ever too.

The previous 4 hunting days in one pic., self explanatory.
6 random silvers, and very thin silver ring.

One of the coppers is 1600's French, all you can see is a fleur-des-lie. (SP)

Now I need a rest. wi

Yeah Rick! Great finds buddy. You really went for it and scored nicely.

A GREAT time in the water for sure. A lot of good finds period. Nice!

Well Rick you are back at it with a bang! Definitely a Bonanza there.

Sorry I missed your call, but I am not awake at that hour :laughing7:

That is a generous helping of silver and gold. You even found some religion and a razor blade to add some spicy to your hunt.

Wow, very nice. You definitely had a great day.

Good to see you make a post Rick, and a really good post too! You nailed a lot of silver, and a double gold day is a rare treat. And top it off with 1600's copper is just great.

Hey Thanks everyone.
Seems notifications isn't working ?
It surely was a good day. Getting on an older virgin swim site was quite a treat.
At one point I had three consecutive digs, gold ring, silver ring, big chain, all in ten minutes, that was a rush.
The big chain only needs one connector link fixed, and I think I'll leave it uncleaned, I kind of like that charcoal / steel gray look.

Now I got to find another place like that.

That truly is a stunning chain!!

Quite a mixture! Too bad the Liard is not better, but how it goes with 1600s coppers.
