5" DD and EMI

I currently use a 11" DD on my Omega and occasionally run in real trashy areas and thinking that the 5" DD might serve me well. I've read in forums that the smaller coils will be impacted by EMI less... but was curious what others here have observed.

I am wondering the same thing hope someone using a 5"DDon the Omega will comment.

Yes the 5"DD coil picks up less EMI than the 11"DD and goes deep it`s a great little coil.

I put the 5" on my T2SE yesterday on some saltwater mud flats. Was able to manually gb it and it ran pretty well. It wasn't noisy at all. But it does have a hard time pinpointing in the salty sand. Other than that I was very impressed. Let's be straight though. It's not a water machine by any stretch
