5 dollar find of a lifetime

I mean a lifetime is an exaggeration but this is now one of my favorite pieces in my collection, it’s an ingraham biltmore radium pocket watch. It goes to around 200 microseiverts per hour, which is now the most radioactive thing I own. I picked it up because despite it not being functional or having crystal the dial and hands are in great condition. It’s in a plastic bag at the moment because I of course don’t want any radium dust leaking out until I get a crystal replacement. Very exited about this find. (Of course doing strict safety precautions when I do replace the crystal and repair the wind.)

That is a illuminating find ! My father had a watch that had glowing numerals on it but it's gone like everything else !
