DeepseekerADS and I did a 5 hour hunt at a swimming hole that has been a serious party place for at least 50 years. Within 5 minutes, I had my first ring. I thought it was plated Sterling. Every swing had a signal and most were pull tabs & pop tops. We took a short lunch break after about 3 hours. I had 4 rings. Two were 10kt!!!! After Lunch we spent another 2 hours in the water without anything great popping up. Here are pictures of my finds.

Nice work. I hope you find more.

I thought my 25 fishing weights was bad yesterday....

The meticulous breakdown makes it even better :)

I didn't realize Steve had that much trash. The surface mud was plenty deep, and there were a number of targets I finally gave up on scooping after 20 scoops and nothing. I was using the excal with discrimination set at "2" to get the gold. Steve was using his Tiger Shark, and he was far better able to pinpoint than I was with the Excal.

I've got some learning to pinpoint to do, especially in muddy water.
