50.00 in pennies

Went to my local and only bank the other day and tried my hand at 50.00 of pennies and they had no halves out of the 2 boxes of pennies one box was all 2005 fresh stuff and the other had been gone through by a tellers husband, funny thing is the teller I was talking to told me another tellers husband buys all the stuff when it comes in and goes through it so today I am opening an account with them to deposit all my searched coins They also would not order me any halves I wonder if after I open my saving account they will.

Dont forget when going thru the pennies to save all the ones previous to 1982 (pre zincers). At current prices each penny has 2.2 cents worth of copper.
