Went back to pick up the $50 bag of pennies today as I found out they would sell it to me, just wasn't sealed yesterday so the teller wanted to make sure of the amount so neither I nor the bank would be short.
Did ok on the bag
17 wheat pennies (1918-D, 1944, 1945, 1946(3), 1952, 1952-D, 1953-D(2), 1953-S, 1954-D, 1956, 1957-D, 1958-D(3))
24 Canadian (1966, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1978(2), 1979, 1980, 1981, 1984, 1986, 1987(3), 1989(2), 1991, 1994(2), 1996, 1999, 2001(2), 2004)
1 Foreign (Australia, 5 Cents (1980))
1 nickel (1959-D) <-- my first keeper found in the wrong denomination, still waiting for my first silver coin found in a bag of pennies...
Also found a penny that appears to be an strike error. I'll post pics in a few minutes.
And while there yesterday, I was right by the coin machine and was able to spot a 1964 half dollar in the half dollar bag (clear plastic bag with about $4 in halves in it). So today, I brought in a couple of halves and she let me exchange out the half dollar. Also paid exchanged a half for a Canadian 2 Dollar coin (1996).
