$50 find.....with something extra??!!

Hello all. Just bought this set for fifty bucks, seemed like a good deal. One piece doesn't match the rest and am not sure what exactly it's supposed to be used for. Spoon with curved handle, on the last pic. It only says 'sterling' on the back. All input is appreciated, thanks!
