Our species hit its high water mark with Apollo. Then we started pissing away money on rathole programs.

One of my greatest regrets in life is that I didn't experience a liftoff of a Saturn V. I will be there when the SLS flies. (1st flight scheduled for 2019 but you know how goobermint schedules work so we'll see).
