Unusual item, but really cool. I like anything that measures or calculates in some way...rulers, calcs, calipers, mics, slide rules...abacus etc...this would be a welcome item in my collection.

Those date back to at least 1853,I have dug one,and seen several others that date to that period.Neat find!
