6 Cents isn't to bad

When its an 1890 V Nickel and an 1868 Indian Head. Sundays finds from 2 different fields. The V Nickel was laying right on top of the ground as you see it in the first field, and the Indian came out of the second field. These 2 fields are becoming sparse with the finds, but still give up a little something so I keep going back.

Congrats on the V nickel and IHP. Gotta love that field hunting. I once found a silver Franklin half lying half under a corn stalk on a field hunt.

Thats exactly what I do. I've been hunting these 2 fields in Spring and Fall for 3 years now. I'm sure there may be some more items left, but its just starting to slow down a little. As long as I find something when I'm there, I will continue to go back again. The plows are our friends !
