Went to a colonial spot I went over with my 11" coil maybe 5-6 times and found good stuff but really felt it was exhausted as i did every mode, and every setting including gold and different directions

Decided that was the perfect spot to see if the 6" could weed out a little gift

Boom

as promised I got a cut George II half penny and a Bronze Jews harp in area I exhausted with 11"

both were 5-6" and nails, signal solid numbers mixed with jumpy, but stead VDI IN one direction

excellent

thanks, its funny said the same thing to a friend

Very cool finds Amergin. Just got a 6" coil and can't wait to try it out.

congrats on the coil and finds. Have had my 6" coil for my 800 for a while, but now wanting a 5x8" coil for water hunting at the lake. It seems I am always wanting and waiting for something from minelab. Had the same itch with my AT Pro. Had to have a 5x8" coils and it was a great match for the AT Pro. It was my go to coil in parks, woods and water. Bought the Nel Thunder, but heavy, and required deeper holes which made sense but was a ***** in the hard GA dirt in our previous dry summer. This year was really a wet summer. Looking back, would not have bought the Nel due to my hunting habits which rarely included open areas or beaches.

I am new to all this with equinox being my first machine, its a shot in dark with all the coils etc, and nasty iron masking, but if it was easy it would be boring
