How does that test come out if you use notch on the Deus to eliminate the coke signal rather than disc. since the signals aren't the same like they are on the NOX? I get you will lose all targets in the notch but still curious and is it worth it.

When I'm trying to find small gold, I find Field 2 on the Nox to be a better mode. I think that mode is also better at working in an area with coke. I also punch the horseshoe button so all (except -9) targets are heard. Actually hearing the iron can help to decide when to slow down and maybe even when to change to a smaller coil. Also, doesn't the size of the coke chunks change what TID numbers come up, just like other targets?

Well if you notch out a one the gold is gone...I learned that much...Seems to me the UK boys will like the Deus II
