7-17-09 Finds

We finally had a cool front move through the area on Thursday, so.....Friday morning I was out huntin'. Made it out to the same place I've been hunting for the last 3 or 4 weeks and met up with Phil (lokkenpa) and his son. Went to a new/different area of this site did some good. These finds are not as old, but I'm still happy to get 'em. Also found the usual trash and cheeseburger money.

And...... a first for me; I found a Kennedy half. Notable finds are shown below.

Got lucky and found both the Mercs in the last 15 minutes of the hunt.

As far as being purdy, one coin expert said it this way: the Winged Liberty Head dime is the most aesthetically pleasing of all U.S. Coins.
