7/24/06 pennies...& a milestone!

My 2nd $10 batch didn't let me down and produced a landmark wheat -

Wheaties: 1944-S, 1945, 1952-D, 1953-D, 1956, 1956-D (2)

Canadian: 1963, one shiny 1964, 1994, 2005

The 1945 was my 3,000th wheatie! ;D ;D ;D Hopefully I'll find many more!

Immy, great story. My son and I also check as many rolled coins as time allows. Found some wheats, maybe 30 or 40. Also, found 2 mint nickels from 1959 and 1964. We also checked some rolls-2-of halves. Bingo, a 1964! Keep hunting and posting. garrettfan2

Sorry about the belated congrats, but WOW 3000 wheaties. Thats pretty awesome.

Just know getting a chance to look back on some posts and reply to some that I had not seen before.

Congratulations once again on number 3000.

congrats Immy! That is impressive. Since I started this spring I have accumulated 150 wheats. I have quite a ways to catch up with you. Well done!!!

That I do!

Here's the general breakdown -

440 in Whitman blue folders
286 in cardboard 2x2's
1050 in completed rolls
1237 in incomplete rolls

3013 total

A bit more specific -

Solid date rolls (17): 58-D (3), 57-D (3), 56-D (3), 55-D, 53-D, 52-D, 51-D, 46, 45, 44, 41 and two rolls each of mixed 1910s & 1920s

All of these aren't exclusively from roll hunting but easily more than half are.
