I've also considered the Minelab Xterra 705 in my search for a gold detector, but
unfortunately I can find little on it's gold getting capabilities. Does look like a
superb relic machine, but until I can find someone that will tell me if it's as
sensitive to the sub-gram stuff (like the GB Pro), then it's only on the
"maybe" list.
