I decided to go to the beach today. I figured I'd give the park I've been hunting a few weeks to replenish. I got there just after 10 a.m. and first signal within my first 20 steps on the beach was a quarter. That rarely happens to me, my first target is normally a bottlecap.
I hunted the dry sand until 4 p.m. Towards the end of my hunt I found a heart skipper of a ring. It was silver in color and had what appeared to be diamonds going around the band. It was laying right on top of the sand near the water line. It is very light and after closer inspection saw no hallmark and noticed some flaking on the inside of the band. Oh well maybe next time.
71 coins = $ 5.15 and 1 no cash value token

silver ring and the heart skipper

I also found 34 pulltabs, 140 bottlecaps and assorted pieces of foil, tent stakes, etc. (not shown)
