8 hrs diggin iffy signals paid off!!!

We went hunting with my buddy 219erMan with the intent of jumping right into a "hunted out" trashy spot and just see what we could pull out by digging all the iffy signals. I was surprised at the amount of goodies that have been bypassed over the years.

Most of it was infact trash but we were rewarded for our efforts. I found my 1st then 2nd V-Nickels for the year (The past 2 years I have only pulled 2 per year so I'm tied at 2 again)

The first pix is all the iffy targets that I dug, mostly garbage.
Second pix is all the good iffy signals that I found.

It was funny, Dave said "16d" right as I was cleaning it off, I then saw that it was a 1916. A huge chill ran down my spine, then I flipped it over and sadly there was no mint mark...

Yea there was/is, my buddy Dave found a small gold "D" earring today but we didn't have a loupe to see the marking on the stud. I'm sure there is more just waiting to be enearthed.
