8 hrs diggin iffy signals paid off!!!

We went hunting with my buddy 219erMan with the intent of jumping right into a "hunted out" trashy spot and just see what we could pull out by digging all the iffy signals. I was surprised at the amount of goodies that have been bypassed over the years.

Most of it was infact trash but we were rewarded for our efforts. I found my 1st then 2nd V-Nickels for the year (The past 2 years I have only pulled 2 per year so I'm tied at 2 again)

The first pix is all the iffy targets that I dug, mostly garbage.
Second pix is all the good iffy signals that I found.

I'm so jealous. I lived in Mt Prospect a long time and wasn't into metal detecting until I moved here to Seattle. It makes me sick to think of all those wooded areas out there full of all the cool stuff you are finding. The woods out here are so thick with vines etc. we can't even get into them most of the time. Keep finding the goods, I enjoy looking at your posts.

Excellent post...and some great finds.

I always try some "iffies" myself...cause you never know..

Sometimes it's just iron...but sometimes it isn't.
