8 silver Saturday

Wound up hunting a totally unexpected yard today. Guy was in his yard, walked up to ask if he knew who owned the empty lot across the street. Long story short, I detected his 1904 yard and found a bunch of stuff. I showed him my finds, and he asked if he could keep a cool matchbox car, of course I said yes! He also wanted the religious medal and chain...no problem! I also gave him the oldest coin I found in his yard, a 1928 wheat. I then did a couple boulevards, and another old yard I did last year. I ended up with a total of $4.86, seventeen wheats, and eight silvers. Not the Barbers and Standers I was looking for, but I'll take it. Also my first Merc since 2012, strange because I found so many Barbers, and Edwards since then. I think the two buttons are US Customs. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I have been lucky this season, most hunts involve at least one silver. I decided to not be a chicken, and ask for permission for yards. Front yards are silver city lol...

Thats what I figured this year, last year I was a big chicken, afraid to doorknock, this year I just go for it, and its been paying off!!
