Found this extraordinarily large cache in a demolition lot. The cache consists of 887 coins. The coins are all clad and date from the late-sixties to the mid-seventies. One fifty-cent piece (1967) and only two nickels. The rest of the coins are quarters, dimes and pennies. Total face value is:

$7.61 Cents
$0.10 Nickels
$7.20 Dimes
$12.75 Quarters
$0.50 Kennedy Half

$27.66 Total Value

One of my most awsome finds. The coins appeared to have been rolled...some were still stacked in the dirt although the paper rolls were badly deteriorated. To bad the coins were'nt a few years older!

The first image is the hole from which I removed the coins (1.5' by 2'). The second is the cache of coins.

Peace,
Chuck
