8hr hunt with Dave in a new "trash Pit"

We went hunting with the intent of jumping right into a "hunted out" trashy spot and just see what we could pull out by digging all the iffy signals. I was surprised at the amount of goodies that have been bypassed over the years.

Most of it was infact trash but we were rewarded for our efforts. I found my 1st then 2nd V-Nickels for the year (The past 2 years I have only pulled 2 per year so I'm tied at 2 again)

The first pix is all the iffy targets that I dug, mostly garbage.
Second pix is all the good iffy signals that I found.

Wow. great finds, K-man. That '02 V is in excellent shape. Nice '16 merc. Everything you found is great!

Man that's a lot of digin , and some some nice rewards. I know you've been waitin for those V nickels and they look good. nice merc and nice rings too. nice hunting, sounds like you went in with a plan and stuck to it, im sure it was a learning experience .... good job. Hey that one trash object in the top pic, lower left looks familiar to me.... like i should know what it is. It looks like a crank off an engine or something. Anybody got a guess?? Anyway good hunting guy.

Congrats Kermit you did a great job getting some nice keepers from iffy signals. That's amazing how many goodies are being passed over if you don't dig a little extra stuff. I've tried to dig everything iffy like you said but I give up after five to ten pieces of junk. I'll definitely give it a better chance next time. Thanks for the motivation.

I had a blast, but man was it cooooold!!!
We should get out and pound someother "hunted out" spots sometime soon.
