tom76 and I did our three day marathon, starting Thursday and stopping Saturday evening. Boy were we beat. It was a very successful hunt for both of us. I got my, 6th, 7th and 8th ring of the year, and eight more wheaties, that put me at 24 Wheats for the year. The rain was coming down Friday, but that didnt stop us. "Theres no stopping while mdng" I decided to hit an area where I dug a v nickel and was delighted when I pulled the Newark NJ 1930s WW1 Army button. The best part of the weekend was when I got a great quarter signal 90VDI and when I lifted the plug out I was astonished, a 42 Merc, next to a big ol Sterling Silver ring. That baby has been walked over for the past 60 odd years and I saved it! Went to a bunch of other spots then I dug the Enlisted hat device, actually comes in three pieces. It was great weekend four silver, possible five, and three rings in three days . Clad total is at $32 bucks, I did some research on the st michaels medal, there $48 bucks on Ebay, so its a keeper, Hope the Pics turn out, good luck in the Hunt!
