9/27 found some nice ones...

I hunted a big back yard that butts up to my yard owned by the sweetest old lady in the world. most areas were very trashy and I know there was a barn and and a silo at this site somewhere. I could tell alot of the ground had been moved around and there were a lot of big things buried. I found a couple of areas that seemed to be undisturbed ground and found most of my keepers in these areas. The last time I was out I found a silver half and a store card, and deja vu today! The Franklin half and the store card were only a few feet from each other. Had fun and found lots of goodies, including 4 spoons (2 sterling, 1 plated) The cars are either early red line hotwheels or Lesney's. The store card is a little on the toasty side but I'll take it (number 7 for me) Thanks for looking all, HH <Griff

You dug some really cool stuff. I love the lion on the key - I think I might actually have one similar to that. I dig the business card from GR-have you been able to find in Richard's or any other database? I'm sure it is probably around the CW era. You'll have to bake the sweet old lady a pie and get back to digging up more!

I really "dig" the sterling spoons, and the BIG silver, hard to come by...let alone the CW storecard - still waiting for my first. Nice old foreign coin too. Congrats on the great hunt, wish I had some neighbors with treasure trove yards like that!

Outstanding yard finds......obviously never hit before. Now I realize why you didn't want me knocking on your neighbors door . Wow - love it all......Silver, CW token and relics. Never saw a Portugal coin that old dug before. Congrats on the hard to find Franklin!! Those kinda yards are hard to top. Way to go bro!!
