9-29 finds

I took the 12x10 coil out for another hunt. This time I went to a park that I've had pretty good luck as far as jewelry is concerned. I got plenty of coins and junk but no jewelry this trip.

All the stuff


$3.56 7 quarters, 11 dimes, 5 nickles, 46 pennies including a 1950 wheatie, and a whole lot of pulltabs (68 to be exact). Also shown, a 30.06 casing, winchester no 12 nublack shotgun end, a spoon, a solid metal looks like a 9mm round and a whatsit

That was a lot of digging...leave the coins out and that usually looks like my finds..wtg

That looks like my finds. I usually get that much junk but I don't get as many good finds. Way to go.

Lotsa digging there willie, nice haul of clad. Is the park a swimming/ fishing spot? your whatsit on the left side of the second pic looks like the tip off of a fishing pole. Nice Hunt

Thanks guys ! Yes that was a lot of digging and yes I was tired, but the STEELERS just took the lead-- not tired anymore.

Glenn, the park has a tot lot and football field--- no swimming/fishing. It's funny, my wife thought it was a fishing rod tip as well. Anything is possible. I found it in the tot lot.

Rmptr,

The 12x10 coil is definitely picking up things that I've missed with other coils/machines.

As far as the whatsit goes, I'm leaning towards fishing rod tip.
