This will be a Bit Long Winded
Vehicle goes in Wednsday for Check.
I was coming up a Mountain the other day
& I Heard a Squeeling noise under where I sit.
Came to a stop at the Bottom
of the other side the Mountain &
drove about 3 Mile with my car sputtering at times.
Noticed My Tach was all the way UP.
Engine was not Reving just threatening to stall
like water in the gas. Stopped at the next stop sign
& Pulled out hard left. Noise stopped
Engine ran Perfect. Tack needle
where it should be again.
Next day Left my place drove to Interstate.
Turnned right unto Interstate, Tach all the way up
Noise Back Drove 65mph 2 Miles Tried
Overdrive, Tried Neutral, got to exit
stopped & Engine stalled.
Thick Smell Like Vehicle on Fire.
Turned key, started up Working Perfect.
(could gas be running too rich rather then
not being Pumped up ? )
Drive 3 Mile Stop for Construction
Probem starts again.
Get through Construction
everything Good.
Do my Buisness Get Gas , Store, Pay Bills,
Head home. Hard right off interstate Stop
at stop sign Problems start,
Pull out Problem Stops.
Can something underneath be Shifting causing
Fuel Pump Connection Problem & Tach to
Redline ? at same time ?
Definately not Coincidence
As Noise sounds like something Turning
with Dry Berrings, Engine Sputters & Tach
Redlines every time it happens.
Tranny Mount ? other Mount ?
Fuel Pump wire Bare & shorting,
But Not blowing Fuse ?
can the Fuel Pump effect the tach
Needle ?
Tach normally runs at about 7500 RPM
when I Start it I smell Fuel in the Exhaust
& the Squeeling noise is right behind the Engine
