90 Minutes at the former Peach tree Grove

it felt good.

as usual some trash



and a piece of junque



to Explain, I throw Trash away.
But Keep "Junque" just because it's Not Junk

Jeff,well that looks just about like my hunt of a nearby farm field yesterday. I got two wheat cents a 35 and 41.But I BEAT YOU BY SEVERAL POUNDS ON THE QUEER JUNK STUFF.That field is full of small items and none of those I dug were iron.

i'm confident it is aluminum. it took some work to remove enough dirt to read it.
I think if silver it would have Rubbed off without water.

Apple orchards may be worthwhile.
years ago I used to help out at the local Orchard Picking Apples in the fall.
one of the pickers told me he lost a Watch while picking.
the Orchard owner would have nothing of detecting.
I guess fear of damage to roots




Anyway the Orchard is Long gone




and would probably hold Many Watches, Bracelets & Even Rings,
as the early Morning Dew in the fall made hands very Slimy
picking apples. & whole Families used to show up To pick apples for the Orchard
at $5.00 a crate.

Looks like a pretty typical day.
It's been so long, I don't even remember the place we hunted that time. LOL

Glad to see you got out and yeah, better get some while ya can!

I bet there is deep treasure there. I imagine that there was some dirt moved around when the trees were removed. I always enjoy your posts and the pics to include the history of the location and some finds. I found one of the thimbles here in Ohio, we are only 50 minutes SW of Cleveland.

Glad you got out. Being a peach tree grove I would have figured more people would have dropped stuff eating peaches in the shade. Seeing snow is a scary thing but hopefully we'll have a more mild winter up here.
