Met up with Pocket Spill after work and tried an area that has history but has also probably been hunted to death. TONS of junky signals here but managed to pull out a nice .925 ring about an hour in. Not much else until the sun went down and we were digging in the dark. Got a 6-35 which ended up as my first old flower style token. Hard to read but its worth 5c at bar. Then got the almost perfect indian a few feet over which was tangled up in some roots. Glad I brought a head lamp. Night hunting is kinda exciting.

HH!

Dedication in the face of darkness!

Good hunting!

Great looking IH penny and it looks like it was dropped yesterday!!

Jason,
That token is way cool. Also, that IH is a beautiful one. It's really nice when they come out good like that. Oftentimes, I find IH's that do come out good, often come out much better than wheaties for some reason. I am jealous of your night hunt, certainly something I'd like to do, but around where I live both safety and legality come into play. Still would love to have a night hunt sometime. Perhaps that could be a group hunt idea?
