A Piece of a Paradise For Sale.
I and my Permanent Pillion, on our Triumph Trophy, along with our Harley Centennial Electroglide riding Mates, visited the Catlins, and fell in 'liking very much' with this place, on our South Island Tour in 2008.
A little further south of this place is a sea-swept, fosillized forest.
From the beach-front rental house we stayed, we passed by the sea lions lying on the beach and watched the very threatened species, the Hector Dolphin, fishing amidst the surf. Not that we saw, but in another season , the Hoiho, the Yellow-eyed penguin are prolific. They will make their 'nest' underneath the beach houses.
One very magic place on Earth.
