Metal Detecting
I was reminded again today that a lot of research pays off. That research led me to what I thought may be an untouched cellar hole in the middle of a forest. Shortly after finding the site, I discovered a nice New Jersey copper dated 1787,
Two Draped Busts with one dated 1802
Some nice buttons including an oval one which you don't see as much
And a crooked spoon and fork.

That's when I noticed a few pieces of metal laying on top if some rocks...Drats, someone beat me to it...But they were not thorough by any means...

Obviously the find of the day is the fork and spoon. It's not every time out detecting that you come across both. One of these days I am bound to find the coveted utensil trifecta!
