I headed back to the woods today and pounded the area where I found the Walker.
I found these dimes and 8 more wheaties.

Very nice dimes. Congrats.
As far as the honeydo list. Stop with the coin hunting for now, go to a playground and find the little misses a few pieces of jewelry, and you should be out of the doghouse for at least a few days.
If that doesn't work, tell her you were out in the woods picking her some nice flowers. If she asks why you needed the metal detector, tell her you were looking for "Steel Magnolias".
Just a thought.
