Was able to get out Saturday with Carolina Tom and Bladerunner2019. We went to a turn of the century mill town where almost all the houses have been abandoned. Finds were very few but we had a good time anyway!
On Sunday I met with Carolina Tom and Todd Lipe at a local spot which started out as a mill village (I think in the 1940's). Later it was turned into low income housing then demolished a while back. It's very trashy to say the least and has been heavily hunted but good targets can be had if you don't have anyplace better and the day is too nice not to hunt. Eventually Tom and Todd got tired of these conditions and decided to head elsewhere. I stubbornly hung in there and was rewarded with a '50's era Tootsie Toy Hot Rod and a couple of Rosies - a '48 and a '53.
