The post title pretty much explains this. Found by me in a field in Russell County Alabama not far at all from the Chattahoochee. River. Maybe a Savannah River? it's 1 3/16 by 15/16. I'm a fan of the small ones as much as the big ones.

Why do you think that? Looks like it has been sharpened quite a bit. It was a good bit bigger originally I'd say. I think it is a sharpened down knife.

Anything is possible, I believe it's been resharpened, (most of what is found has been). I don't doubt it being a exhausted blade and I don't doubt it being a dart type point. This one I've always wondered about. Either way I'm not complaining; the pictures don't really give this piece justice.
