Went out today with my newest hunting buddy. We decided that we would go and dig up her parents yard.
They had a lovely yard with Zoysia five inches thick. :P I tried really hard to not make a mess of it and kept the holes I dug as small as possible....with three fatal results.
I did end up with a couple of silver's from 1964 and six wheats, a bunch of clad, a couple of keys (one of which I did not break)
a great marble, an Avon ring, a neat Johnny Lightning Screamer car, a tiny spoon (that I did break)
a bullet and two buttons. I dug the Indian and almost let out a big 'Yeee Hawwww' till I saw the back and discovered it was a button.
Has a date on it..1803. Then later in the day I found the other button with what looks like a person in armor?
Have no idea if they are very old or not....anyone?
The weather was beautiful and the hosts were so hospitable. It was a good day.
