Got out to the farm today. Talk about wet! But much dryer than the other spot I checked on earlier this morning.
These were all found within 30 yards of the old cellar hole (except the thimble). I dug the nice old square nails on purpose to get an idea of what iron is in the ground. The thimble was found over near where the 1870's house was.
Coins for the day. The three wheat pennies and one memorial were found near the 1870's house. The larger coin to the right is a half penny, I think. It's completely worn.
This pewter button, I think, was found about 30 yards west of the old cellar hole.
Found this Northampton County senior citizen dog tag in the area of the 1870's house.
