Hi and Happy Easter !:hello:

Beautiful warm , sunny morning so Hank and I headed out for some crisp fresh air at the beach.

I hunted low tide as it was coming in to shore; found a silver heart ( ? fell off a chain) in the wet sand near the water line.

It was deep...about 9"....faint high sound over the coil.

As usual, sinkers abound at this beach, but I save them and cash them in when I get a good amount.

Here's a couple of pics.

Have a great day!

Lorraine

Nice heart Lori that chain must be close by.

Congrats on the silver...you know your not missing much when you pull something small from that depth...that knife looks like an oldie. :icon_thumright:

Nice find, Lorraine. Glad you and Hank got out and enjoyed yourselves. If these photos turn out okay, it's the ring I found last Tuesday. Pretty sure it's gold plated.

Lovely! Lovely Heart!

Looks to be gold plated, fongu; it is a very pretty designed ring!

Hi,
I find lead sinkers all the time. I've just been giving them away to fishermen. Where do you cash them in?

Hi JC,

When I get a couple of buckets full, I bring them to a scrap yard ; the workers weigh the lot and give me payment according to the current price of lead.

Thanks for the idea....
