A blessing of sorts from the beach today....but got robbed of the gold :>(

Hi,

33* at the beach mid-day...slight breeze; very refreshing.
Hunted the wet sand as tide receded.

Targets were deep...found clads 8"-10" down; found this ? gold coated/gold washed/gold filled/ maybe no gold at all religious ring.

On the face is a cross with what appears to be 4 images on the 4 points of the cross.

On one side is an image of a small cross; on the other side is the inscription "IHS" ( which towards the end of the middle ages became the monogram for the name of Jesus Christ.)

I really like this religious ring ...too bad it is in such poor condition...had to have been in that ocean a very long time.

I think it must have been a beautiful ring before getting lost to the ocean.

That second picture is AWESOME.. looks like your ring is copper maybe..hey its a ring, looks like its been there a long time...so it still counts.. ya did great on cleaning it.. I got the chills just from looking at your picture lol
