Hi All,

I actually went out to a field to find some tractor parts a guy had lost. The field was very wet and hard to hunt. Everytime I got down to dig a whole it felt like I took a bath. Anyways it is a good size field and the guy didn't know where he lost the parts. I gave it a go for quite awhile, but didn't find them. I spotted a nice little patch of woods near a road that was on his property. So I went and detected the patch of woods. A few minutes in I dug the first part of the buckle that had the male part on the back. I said real cool and continued to hunt. About four feet away I got a good signal and dug the other part of the buckle. Then a few feet away from that I dug the piece of the buckle that had fallen off. Overall it was a good day. I don't know what the buckle is or how old, if you have any ideas that would be cool. Thanks for looking.

Fabulous, how you located it in it's entirety! Does it take a polish like silver?

That is a fantastic find, congrats. The oval pieces must have been riveted down to the belt plates over the cloth or leather belt, holding it all together? The oval pieces seem to have a Chinese or Mandarin (?) symbol repeated down the length, maybe someone can shed some light on that symbol. Sub
