A buckle.

I found this I assume it’s a belt buckle don’t know age hard to find anything on buckles unless there military. Just the way it’s made seems backwards from one made now just the way it’s formed. I feel it’s old probably not extremely old but any Information given as to for age is appreciated won’t hurt my feelings. It is brass.

Looks like a horse harness buckle or farm tack of some sort. I find that type in fields all the time.
