A CaneField Bandits GawGag Day

Well, a day like this was long in coming. GawGag everywhere, and not many good finds to be had. As always, we dug a couple things that were neat though. I found a small silver orb and post marked sterling (nose ring! LOL) (see the last photo below, bottom center of the shot). Shanegalang and I both got plantation tokens, which never happens (Between the two of us, we have only dug two total in the past 12 months). Shane got a nice spur piece. Water everywhere that we had to slog through. Anyhow, we had fun as usual. Enjoy the Rap.

I really wanted to dig one of those tokens and it is crazy that both you & Shane dug one on that hunt. Nice IH too. Your Cajun accent is improving to the point that you & Shane can be on 'Swamp People'-LOL. Nice finds, video, and glad you two got to get out. At least there was chaff in the rows. HH, Q.

We've hit a temporary delay. Tough thing is, flat buttons are being found, and antebellum items mixed in, so we're hoping for a hotspot somewhere. We won't give up on this site easily as there will be good finds to be had eventually. Yeah, the Cajun accent is getting scary. Doesn't even sound like me anymore!
