A Chinese silver coin maybe ..??

My buddy and I were hunting a 1930's house and we were digging up all kinds of silver but we don't know what the coin is one the top of the pic. Does anyone know? Is it silver and how old? Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

someone in that house was a WW2 vet. Pa brought a few of those back with him too.
