A colorful adena

I found this adena earlier this past spring.
Again, a S.E. Minnesota surface find.

Nice, looks like it may have been in a fire.

It appears to me to be heat treated, the outer cortext of the source material visible on the one side on the left of the images.

It was heat treated before knapping. Gary

That would be a great soup spoon or even an incense burner...
No more wake and bake but that pipe did set my tone.
