Cannonman has shown great restraint on this one so guess I will have to play "bad cop" for a change. Beanman, those still just look like rocks to me. The shaping on the first one is interesting, but certainly not conclusive...add to it the fact the opposite side is not polished, but rather pitted and uneven. This would indicate if a tool at all, it wasn't used very much.
The smaller piece I cant tell anything about at all. The two axes you posted were nice....Look for some more of those!! Or if they are in short supply....in your chipped stone stuff, start looking for something that looks rather like a bowtie.....I have seen many chipped stone axes and many are shaped something on that order.....wide on both ends narrow in the middle. Keep the faith and stuff will come your way. 4 out of 5 rocks I pick up are just that...rocks. Experience is the best professor....and the most expensive one. In time you will be able to easily cull out geofacts, in the mean time leave no stone unturned!!
