I haven't been hunting much at all lately. It's been too cold, too wet or too dark.
I did manage to get a short hunt in on Saturday but nothing remarkable showed up; just the usual clad, trash and other assorted junk.
Before going home I had to stop and pick up a few groceries and as usual, I checked the CoinStar reject slot on the way out. I glanced down and there were maybe ten coins.
I grabbed them and to my delight there were two silver Rosie's in the mix; a 1956 & '57 in beautiful shape..........

That's my third '57 Rosie this year. They musta' made a bunch of them that year.
I left the rest of them (a few assorted clad coins and a trashed Zincoln) behind on the little shelf on the machine for the next person who shows up.
These two small coins really made my day. The fact that I'm finished metal detecting NEVER means I'm finished hunting TREASURE.
I always keep my eyes open no matter where I am.
This is the same machine where I found these coins and a Camp David Lapel pin back in July (plus twelve foreign coins; not pictured)......

So overall, that machine has been very good to me over the last few months. That's six silvers from this one location.
Plus it saved the day once again after a humdrum hunt.
You would think that the CoinStar folks would have come up with a way to keep those silver coins inside the machine by now but they continue to spit 'em out. That's fine by me (as well as all my fellow treasure hunters, to be sure).
Thanks for Looking & HH.......
