A Dandy Day, BONE #29, 2022, Day 2

Hello everyone,

Today is the 2nd hunt on BONE #29, 2022. I had a DANDY day! It started off slow, In the first four hours I had found a nice late hundreds, early 1800's buckle, but nothing else for quite sometime. Then when I was about to leave, I found a stunning Danny button to lighten my day. Moments later another intricate button. Someone here at BONE thinks it might even be silver! But, IDK, the signal didn't seem to indicate so. After that, low and behold, a nice large cent.

Just before I unearthed the LC, I was speaking to Jeff who was telling me he hadn't found anything. After our pleasantries ended, I immediately found the large cent. I could see the outline of lady liberty, and saw 18#9 or 4, but couldn't make it out completely. When I got back to the hotel, I brushed it off and damn if I didn't wipe it clean. Now, I can't see any definition at all, yet alone make out a date! Too bad I didn't take a photo before my ammeter restoration work.

I also scored an oxen shoe; big whoop, right?

Nothing special, just lot of patients and swung the detector.
